BrasscheckTV: The shocking truth about the NSA‏

===================
BrasscheckTV Report
===================

The shocking truth about the NSA

Apparently the NSA is grossly
incompetent by every conceivable
yardstick.

But they do two bad things very
well.

 NSA: Thieves, liars and fools
NSA has NO IDEA what Snowden took

Perhaps THE most incredible of Mr. Binney's revelations is that NSA has NO IDEA what Snowden took. Mr. Binney explains why.

Bill Still interview NSA’s Bill Binney
Mind boggling. That’s the only way to describe it.

The world’s best funded spy agency, the NSA:

1) had no system in place to monitor what it’s employees and contractors were doing
2) has no way to track what Snowden actually took in the way of data

In short, they know NOTHING.

The Government Accounting Office does not audit the NSA. No one has any idea how the NSA spends the money they get. In fact, even the amount of their budget is black.

“Domestic spying has contributed NOTHING to dealing with terrorism. It’s done absolutely zero.”

So what is the function of the NSA? Apparently twofold:

1) To trash the Constitution
2) to steal an indeterminate amount of money from the US tax payer through fraud and gross incompetence

Those appear to be the only things their domestic surveillance program is doing.

ACLU – NSA Says It’s Too Large, Complex to Comply With Court Order‏

by SABRINA I. PACIFICI on JUNE 10, 2014

Patrick C. Toomey, Staff Attorney, ACLU National Security Project

News release:” “In an era of too-big-to-fail banks, we should have known it was coming: An intelligence agency too big to rein in — and brazen enough to say so. In a remarkable legal filing on Friday afternoon, the NSA told a federal court that its spying operations are too massive and technically complex to comply with an order to preserve evidence. The NSA, in other words, now says that it cannot comply with the rules that apply to any other party before a court — the very rules that ensure legal accountability — because it is too big. The filing came in a long-running lawsuit filed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation challenging the NSA’s warrantless collection of Americans’ private data. Recently, the plaintiffs in that case have fought to ensure that the NSA is preserving relevant evidence — a standard obligation in any lawsuit — and not destroying the very data that would show the agency spied on the plaintiffs’ communications. Yet, as in so many other instances, the NSA appears to believe it is exempt from the normal rules.”

Be Suspicious Of Local Power Also; The Hill: FBI Chief: ‘Be Suspicious’ Of Government Power

By Julian Hattem

FBI Chief Says 'Be Suspicious of Government Power'

The head of the FBI says he understands why people worry about the scope of the government's powers, and in fact, he agrees with them.
“I believe people should be suspicious of government power. I am,” Director James Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday morning.
“I think this country was founded by people who were worried about government power so they divided it among three branches,” he added.

In the months since Edward Snowden leaked documents detailing the country’s intelligence programs, Comey said that “it’s hard for me, sometimes, to find the space and time to talk about what I do and why I do it.”
Though the controversial surveillance raised privacy concerns and made people fret that the government was snooping on their behavior, Comey said that the FBIs programs are run responsibly. He added that those operations had also helped to track down kidnappers and save children.
Comey assumed his top post shortly after the Snowden revelations came to light last summer. While much of the public's outrage has focused on activities at the National Security Agency, the FBI has also come under fire for its use of national security letters and operations to track

From Bunkerville USA We Present: Bundy Ranch

We are trading one form of slavery for another.
What I am saying is that all we Americans are trading one form  of slavery for another.  All of us are in some measure slaves of the federal government.  Through their oppressive tactics of telling the ranchers how many cows  they can have on their land, and making that  number too low to support a ranch, the BLM has  driven every rancher in Clark County off the land, except me.  The IRS keeps the people of America in fear, and makes us all work about a third or a half of the year before we have earned enough to pay their taxes.  This is nothing but slavery from January through May.  The NSA spies on us and collects our private phone calls and emails.  And  the government dole which many people in America are on, and have been for much of their lives, is dehumanizing and degrading.  It takes away incentive to work and self respect.  Eventually a person on the dole becomes a ward of the government, because his only source of income is a dole from the government.  Once the government has you in that position, you are its slave.
I am  trying to keep Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream alive. He was praying for the day when he and his people would be free, and he could say I’m free, free at last, thank God I’m free at last! But all of us here America, no matter our race, are having our freedom eroded and destroyed by the federal government because of its heavy handed tactics.
The BLM, the IRS, the NSA--all of the federal agencies are destroying our freedom.  I am standing up against their bad  and unconstitutional laws, just like Rosa Parks did when she refused to sit in the back of the bus.  She started a revolution  in America, the civil rights movement, which freed the black people from much of the oppression they were suffering. I'm saying Martin Luther King's dream was not that Rosa could take her rightful seat in the front of the bus, but his dream was that she could take any seat on the bus and I would be honored to sit beside her.   I am doing the same thing Rosa Parks did--I am standing up against bad laws which dehumanize us and destroy our freedom.  Just like the Minutemen at Lexington and Concord, we are saying no to an oppressive government which considers us  to be slaves rather  than free men.  (TLR emphasis)
I invite all people in America to join in our peaceful revolution to regain our freedom.  That is how America was started, and we need to keep that tradition alive.

NOT in Main Stream News: German Television does first Edward Snowden Interview (ENGLISH)

German Television Channel NDR does an exclusive interview with Edward Snowden.
Uploaded on LiveLeak cause German Television thinks the rest of the world isn’t interested in Edward Snowden.

According to Snowden, “The public had a right to know that which the government is doing in its name, and that which the government is doing against the public.”
“While many debate whether or not Edward Snowden is a hero or a traitor, Snowden decided to answer for himself.
“If I am traitor, who did I betray?” he asked. “I gave all my information to the American public, to American journalists who are reporting on American issues. If they see that as treason, I think people really need to consider who they think they’re working for. The public is supposed to be their boss, not their enemy.”

The Truth Is Viral: “Obama Murdered My Son” – Father Of Slain SEAL Team 6 Sailor Speaks Out, Gets Spied On By NSA

By Bobby  Powell
For two and a half years, the families of the members of SEAL Team Six – The SEAL Team that killed Osama Bin Laden – have been searching for answers. They want to know why their sons were put aboard a decrepit CH-47 helicopter and flown into a hot LZ with no support whatsoever, they want to know why the government lied about the circumstances of the deaths of the SEALS, and they want to know who is responsible for the deaths of their sons.
In three weeks they may get a few answers when Congress opens an investigation into the facts surrounding the downing of Extortion 17 in Afghanistan’s Tangi Valley on August 6th 2011.

Charles Strange, Father of Slain SEAL Michael Strange
In this exclusive TTiV interview, Charles Strange, father of Michael Strange, one of the 22 Navy SEALS aboard the ill-fated flight, tells viewers of the evidence he has obtained from government sources that lay open the lies surrounding his son’s death that have been told by the military, and how a Muslim Imam was brought in by the military to say a prayer over the bodies of the SEALS, even though none of them were Muslim; a “prayer” that was intended to damn the SEALS to Hell. If none of the SEALS were Muslim, why was a Muslim prayer spoken over their bodies, a prayer designed to insult the memory of these heroes if not to intentionally rub salt into a fresh wound?
Charles’ wife Mary also recounts how the government has bugged their home, their computers, and telephones. She says that they have been receiving strange text messages, and that cameras have been installed in their home; real-time photographs being sent to her computer screen as she worked.
That is absolutely terrifying. It was also the basis of a lawsuit that the Stranges, through their attorney Larry Klayman, recently won against the NSA. Mary Strange talks about that as well.

Once the conversation turned to the case against the NSA and classified information concerning Michael’s death, the servers at the Guerilla Media Network which hosts TTiVLIVE! came under a DDoS attack and the interview had to be terminated. For now.
The Truth Is Viral will continue to follow the Congressional inquiries about Extortion 17 as well as the Strange’s case against the NSA. It is the official editorial position of The Truth Is Viral that installing cameras in the homes of grieving families in order to intimidate them into being silent is beyond reprehensible and those responsible must be held to account.

WND EXCLUSIVE Big Name Search Engines Face Rebellion

‘Snowden effect’ gets consumers moving on privacy issues
 Bob Unruh

There’s a quiet but surging rebellion developing against the major Internet search engines because of the “Snowden effect,” insiders are reporting to WND.
That effect is a newly heightened concern over spying, specifically government spying, that might be targeting everyday citizens.
Snowden, of course, is the former National Security Agency contractor who stole thousands of pages of secret documents and started leaking them to the public. It is because of him that President Obama held a news conference on Friday and announced changes to the NSA spy programs.
It is because of Snowden that multiple lawsuits have been launched against the federal government over the NSA activities, including two cases by attorney Larry Klayman, who has obtained a federal judge’s ruling that the operations are likely unconstitutional.
But the average consumer isn’t pursuing a lawsuit or making federal policy changes.
They are just changing their search engines.
Consumer privacy expert Dr. Katherine Albrecht addresses this trend as spokesperson for private search engines StartPage.com and Ixquick.com.
“Every time Edward Snowden shares a new revelation about government spying, we get an influx of new users,” she said.
There have been recurring surges ever since June when Snowden began leaking details about programs like PRISM.
But what’s notable, she explained, “is the sustained upward trend in the numbers. In 2013 these search engines doubled their traffic, serving up over 1.25 billion searches for the year.”
Currently, the company reports more than five million searches per weekday. Albrecht says they are bracing for record growth in 2014 and don’t expect the trend to end anytime soon.
“It may have taken Internet users a while to make sense of Snowden’s revelations and figure out what to do about them,” she observed, “but now they are clearly responding in huge numbers.”

BrasscheckTV: The Long, Long History Of Surveillance Abuse‏ (The Truth About Edward Snowden)

Edward Snowden's NSA revelations are getting
a lot of attention - as well they should.

What's missing from the story is the long
history of US spying on its own citizens.

The history of US spying on innocent people
Current NSA story just the tip of the iceberg
Stefan Molyneux discusses the truth about Edward Snowden and breaks down the history, origin, legality, and the terrifying reality of warrantless wiretapping, data collection and government spying. They are watching you.

                        This ain’t new
Stefan Molyneux of Freedomain Radio lays out the history of US spying on its own people.

It’s entirely illegal by the way.

The Fourth Amendment is crystal clear on this point: Search of a person’s home, property or papers is illegal without a court ordered search warrant.

But thanks to a corrupt Supreme Court and the ever-growing military industrial complex, the law of the land has been thrown out the window on this and many other points.
